Mark Levinson has been involved in filmmaking for the last 20 years. He is the writer/producer/director of the independent film Prisoner of Time, which examined the lives of former Russian dissident artists after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The film had an acclaimed premiere at the Moscow International Film Festival. A specialist in the post-production writing and recording of dialogue known as ADR, he has worked on a long list of award-winning films. An integral part of Anthony Minghella’s team on The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and Cold Mountain, he also worked with Francis Ford Coppola on Jack and The Rainmaker, and more recently with the German director Tom Tykwer (Run, Lola, Run, Heaven, Perfume) and with Sean Penn (The Pledge and Into the Wild).  As an ADR Supervisor he has worked closely with some of the top actors in the film industry, including Jack Nicholson, Nicole Kidman, Ralph Fiennes, Cate Blanchett, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, Matt Damon, Renee Zellweger, and many others.  Before embarking on his film career, Mark earned a doctoral degree in particle physics from the University of California at Berkeley.
