Brian David Cange has been working as a hands-on producer/director/line producer for the last twelve years. He has extensive credits on independent features, documentaries, promotional / industrial films, and domestic and foreign commercials. Cange recently completed an around-the-world production for Kumon, which documented this innovative after school program in six diverse countries. Brian has also directed extensive commercial works for Deloitte, including a series of videos in 2008 on the history of Silicon Valley, which featured Al Gore. Among Brian’s documentary titles are Lush Life: Billy Strayhorn (2007 - PBS), An American Wedding (2005 - also Director of television pilot), Mad Hot Ballroom (2005 – Award-Winning, Paramount Classics), Synthetic Pleasures (1996 - Sundance Competition). His work in narrative features includes The Understudy (2007), The Skeptic (2006) and The Quality of Mercy (2002).
