ANDREA MILLER  

Andrea Miller is an independent producer living in New York City. She most recently produced the feature film Dark Matter, the directorial debut of the acclaimed Chinese opera director Chen Shi-Zheng, starring Meryl Streep, Aidan Quinn, Blair Brown, Bill Irwin and Liu Ye. The film won the Sloan Feature Film Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and Best Narrative Feature at the Asian Film Festival in New York. Andrea began her career as a writer/production manager of documentaries, producing the daily shows Everyday with Joan Lunden and The Media Beat for CNBC. She was Senior Vice President Sales, Marketing and Co-production at Sony Wonder, Head of Programming for TNT and The Cartoon Network, Asia (where she served as the first General Manager of Cartoon Network Japan), and a producer at Comedy Central and HA! where she produced more than 100 half-hours of comedy including Indecision ’92, Random Acts of Variety, The A-List and a pilot for HBO. She also served as supervising producer on two seasons of the Emmy-award winning Pee Wee’s Playhouse and the original Shining Time Station for PBS. Andrea is an active board member at The Flea Theater and Independent Curators International.
